Mike Niccum

Mike’s complete dedication to competition and performance aerobatics led to a coveted spot on the roster of the prestigious United States Advanced World Aerobatic Team. Placing in the top tier of both National and World competition events, Mik excels when demonstrating the pinpoint accuracy and thrilling performance of Unlimited aerobatics. His style of high performance and visually dynamic maneuvers instill a high level of exhilaration and inspiration to any air show or competition crowd.

Pete Tallarita

Aerobatic Competitor and National Judge Pete Tallarita lives in New Richmond, Wisconsin and has been flying air shows for 27 years. Pete remembers seeing legendary air show pilot Pete Myers fly when he was five years old and performed with him at his first show when he was 20. He is an Airline Captain currently flying international routes with more than 24,000 hours flying time in over 60 different types from Piper Cub's to 747's. Pete has a Level One ACE (Air show waiver no limitations). An A&P mechanic with an "Inspectors Authorization," he learned Aerobatics at age 17 and has been teaching aerobatics and flying air shows for almost 30 years.

Dave Scott

Dave Scott grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, home of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and AirVenture, the world’s greatest General Aviation convention and airshow. He began flying R/C at the age of 10 and has worked in the development of several full-scale aircraft as well as designing nearly 50 radio control planes. Dave is a licensed pilot and an active full-scale aerobatic competitor (winning the first full-scale aerobatic contest he entered). A few years ago Dave founded 1st U.S. R/C Flight School and has professionally trained more than 1000 students with over 12,000 hours of primary solo through advanced aerobatic instruction. He is deeply influenced by his experiences with full-scale aircraft and believes that model airplanes should be flown and instructed with the same professionalism and realism. Dave continues to formally instruct 60 people each summer and aspires to make the US Unlimited Aerobatic Team. He has developed a one-of-a-kind Unlimited aerobatic R/C airshow sequence that blows the doors off the barrage of planes tumbling and hanging on the prop that spectators see at most air shows!

Darrel Massman

Darrel's versatility as a pilot is only exceeded by the excitement of his air shows.  Flying Warbirds, Corporate Aircraft, and a wide variety of Aerobatic Airplanes, Darrel is comfortable in any cockpit.  Developing his Unlimited Class Aerobatic skills in a Pitts Special S-2C, Darrel now flies competition and air shows in a Panzl 330, one of the most breathtaking aerobatic aircraft in the world.  He also flies a Stearman Biplane with a 450 HP Radial Engine as a special demonstration during some of his show events.  Darrel hails from Decorah, Iowa and now lives near Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Doug Rozendaal

Anyone in the Warbird Community knows that Doug is one of the most respected pilots and restoration experts involved with vintage WWII Aircraft.  He is currently the Chief Director for the Red Tail Project, currently restoring a famous Red Tail P-51C flown by the Tuskegee Airmen during the Second World War.  Doug also makes an appearance every year at EAA's AirVenture in Oshkosh to fly his trademark yellow DC-3, dropping jumpers to open the show.  Familiar with flying the P-51 Mustangs and many other Warbirds, Doug will be piloting a Harvard Mk IV in an aerobatic demonstration at Airfest.  With very few WWII warbirds actually flying an aerobatic routine, it will be a real treat to watch this vintage aircraft put through some rigorous paces.
